  • 1 ¾ cups seltzer water
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • 6 tbsp soy sauce
  • ¼ cup light brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp minced fresh ginger
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut cauliflower into bite-sized florets and dry thoroughly.
  3. In one bowl, combine dry batter ingredients (flour blend, cornstarch, baking powder, garlic powder, salt, black pepper). In another bowl, mix seltzer water and apple cider vinegar.
  4. Combine wet ingredients with dry until smooth; adjust consistency if necessary.
  5. Coat the cauliflower florets with the batter and arrange them in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking occasionally until golden brown.
  7. Meanwhile, prepare the sauce by sautéing garlic and ginger in sesame oil before adding remaining sauce ingredients; simmer until thickened.
