Ingredients

- 4 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup lemon juice

- Test gel consistency using the cold plate method; continue cooking if necessary.
- Fill sterilized jars with hot jam, leaving a 1/4-inch headspace.
- Process jars in a water bath canner by boiling them for 10 minutes.
- Remove jars from the water bath and let them cool completely.
