- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 3 cups sliced fresh peaches
- 3 cups quartered fresh strawberries
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup + 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- Prepare the brown butter by melting it in a saucepan over medium heat until golden brown and nutty.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour and salt; add the cooled brown butter, then mix in water and vinegar until just combined. Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes.
- Combine sliced peaches, strawberries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and gently toss in another bowl.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out half of the dough into your pie dish and fill with the fruit mixture. Roll out the remaining dough for a top crust.
- Bake for about 70 minutes until golden brown and bubbly. Allow cooling before serving.
