  • 1 box brownie mix (for 9x13 pan)
  • 22 Oreos (divided)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the brownie base by mixing the brownie mix as per package instructions. Chop 10 Oreos and fold into the batter. Spread evenly in a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
  3. For the cheesecake filling, beat the softened cream cheese with granulated sugar until smooth; then add the egg, vanilla extract, and sour cream. Mix until well combined.
  4. Layer the cheesecake filling over the brownie base and crumble remaining Oreos on top.
  5. Bake for about 60 minutes or until set. Cool completely before adding ganache.
  6. To prepare the ganache, heat heavy whipping cream until simmering, pour over chocolate chips in a bowl, let sit for a few minutes, then stir until smooth. Pour over cooled bars and allow to set before slicing.
