  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup ketchup (divided)
  • 2 cups prepared mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices cooked turkey bacon, crumbled

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, onion, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and half of the ketchup. Mix until well combined.
  3. Press the meat mixture into the greased baking dish and spread remaining ketchup on top. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
  4. Spread prepared mashed potatoes evenly over the meatloaf layer and sprinkle with cheese and crumbled turkey bacon.
  5. Return to oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
