Ingredients

  • 16.3 ounces Grands 'Big' biscuits
  • 21 ounces cherry pie filling
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon light corn syrup

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a heavy-bottomed saucepan to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Open the biscuits, separate and flatten each one slightly.
  3. Place 1 tablespoon of cherry pie filling in the center of each biscuit circle.
  4. Pinch edges tightly to seal and roll into balls.
  5. Fry dough balls in hot oil until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
  6. Drain on paper towels and prepare glaze by whisking together powdered sugar, milk, and corn syrup.
