Description

Indulge in the refreshing delight of a Cherry Vanilla Iced Latte, a vibrant beverage that perfectly marries rich coffee with a homemade cherry syrup. This delicious drink is ideal for warm days or whenever you crave a cool pick-me-up. Naturally gluten-free and dairy-free, it boasts a unique flavor profile that will impress at gatherings or during your cozy afternoon breaks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cherries, pitted (frozen works great)
  • ½ cup sugar or monk fruit
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup strong brewed coffee (or preferred coffee substitute)
  • ½ cup vanilla almond milk
  • 2 tbsp vanilla almond creamer
  • 23 tbsp homemade cherry simple syrup

Instructions

  1. Make the Cherry Syrup: In a saucepan, combine cherries, water, and sugar (or monk fruit) over medium heat. Simmer gently while pressing cherries to release their juice. Once thickened, remove from heat and let cool.
  2. Strain the Syrup: Pour the mixture through a strainer into a glass container, discarding solids.
  3. Assemble the Iced Latte: Fill a glass with ice and add cherry syrup. Froth together vanilla almond milk and creamer (optional). Pour frothed milk over syrup, then add brewed coffee. Stir gently.
