  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika on both sides.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sear the chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant. Deglaze with chicken broth and lemon juice; simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon the sauce over it, and simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. In a separate saucepan, melt butter and sauté garlic before adding rice and broth. Cook until rice is fluffy.
