  • 2 large chicken breasts, diced
  • 250g orzo pasta
  • 500ml chicken broth
  • 200ml heavy cream
  • 60g grated Parmesan cheese
  • 200g broccoli florets
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, season the diced chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Sear for 5-6 minutes until cooked through. Set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add orzo and stir frequently for 2 minutes.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer; cook for about 8 minutes until orzo is tender.
  4. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and broccoli; cook until the sauce thickens (5-6 minutes).
  5. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and stir in chopped parsley before serving.
