Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 pounds Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • Optional: ¼ teaspoon red-pepper flakes, 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese, chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and optional red-pepper flakes until well combined.
  3. Toss the halved Brussels sprouts in the garlic butter mixture until evenly coated. If needed, add more olive oil for moisture.
  4. Spread the coated Brussels sprouts cut-side down on a baking sheet in a single layer. Roast for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through until golden-brown and tender.
