- Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until a dough forms. Chill the dough wrapped in plastic wrap for at least one hour.
- Roll out the chilled dough on a floured surface, place it into a greased tart pan, poke holes in the bottom, and freeze for 20 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and bake the crust for about 15-20 minutes until lightly golden brown. Allow it to cool.
