  • ⅓ cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • ⅛ tsp salt
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 5 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Warm milk to 110-115°F (43-46°C). Combine with sugar and yeast; let sit for 5 minutes until bubbly.
  2. Mix in melted butter, eggs, and apple cider vinegar. Gradually add flour, baking powder, and salt; stir until dough forms.
  3. Knead gently on a floured surface for 2-3 minutes; let rise in a greased bowl for 30 minutes.
  4. Roll out dough to ¼ inch thick on parchment paper. Spread softened butter over the surface; sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Roll tightly into a log shape and slice into 12 equal pieces. Place cut-side up on a greased baking sheet.
  6. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
