- 5 tbsp (35 g) black cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup (168 g) unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup (165 g) light brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup (50 g) granulated white sugar
- 2 egg yolks, at room temperature
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup (170 g) Halloween M&Ms
- 3 tbsp (36 g) Halloween jimmies

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, black cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream softened butter with light brown sugar and granulated sugar using an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
- Add egg yolks and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
- Gradually incorporate dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Gently fold in Halloween M&Ms and sprinkles using a rubber spatula.
- Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them two inches apart. Decorate with additional M&Ms and candy eyeballs.
- Bake for 10–11 minutes until set but soft in the center. Cool on baking sheets before transferring to wire racks.
