  • 1 lb flank steak
  • 56 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup coconut aminos
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 12 oz cooked noodles
  • 1/3 cup low sodium beef broth
  • 2 tbsp avocado or olive oil
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp arrowroot starch
  • 34 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp fresh minced ginger
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Green onion for garnish
  • Chili oil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sauce by whisking together coconut aminos, honey, sesame oil, arrowroot starch, minced garlic, ginger, and black pepper in a mixing bowl. Set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add 1 tbsp oil and broccoli. Cover and cook for 5-8 minutes until bright green and tender. Remove from pan.
  3. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of oil and cook flank steak for 2-3 minutes per side until medium rare. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Lower the heat; return broccoli to the skillet along with cooked noodles and beef broth. Pour in the prepared sauce and stir to combine; cook for an additional 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds and sliced green onion.
