Ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak
- 5–6 cups broccoli florets
- 1/2 cup coconut aminos
- 2 tbsp honey
- 12 oz cooked noodles
- 1/3 cup low sodium beef broth
- 2 tbsp avocado or olive oil
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp arrowroot starch
- 3–4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tsp fresh minced ginger
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Green onion for garnish
- Chili oil for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the sauce by whisking together coconut aminos, honey, sesame oil, arrowroot starch, minced garlic, ginger, and black pepper in a mixing bowl. Set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add 1 tbsp oil and broccoli. Cover and cook for 5-8 minutes until bright green and tender. Remove from pan.
- In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of oil and cook flank steak for 2-3 minutes per side until medium rare. Season with salt and pepper.
- Lower the heat; return broccoli to the skillet along with cooked noodles and beef broth. Pour in the prepared sauce and stir to combine; cook for an additional 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds and sliced green onion.
