Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round baking pans.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix together the oil, eggs, mashed bananas, and crushed pineapple.
- Combine the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients; stir until just mixed (don’t overmix).
- Fold in nuts if using. Divide batter between prepared pans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool completely before frosting.
