- 1 bunch (10 oz) spinach
- 1 clove garlic (minced)
- 1 stalk green onion (chopped)
- 2 teaspoons soy sauce
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons toasted sesame oil
- 2 teaspoons toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
- Trim the ends of the spinach and cut into 2-inch pieces.
- Boil salted water in a pot and blanch the spinach for 30 seconds until just wilted.
- Transfer the spinach to an ice bath to cool quickly, then squeeze out excess water.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cooled spinach with minced garlic, chopped green onion, soy sauce, salt, sesame oil, and sesame seeds. Stir until well mixed.
- Serve immediately as a side dish.
