Description

Enjoy flavorful Marinated Grilled Flank Steak that’s juicy and tender. Perfect for your next meal—try it today!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 lbs flank steak
  • 2 T balsamic vinegar
  • 2 T fresh-squeezed juice (such as lime)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp fresh ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 T olive oil
  • Steak rub (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a mixing bowl, combine balsamic vinegar, fresh juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, salt, and olive oil.
  2. Marinate the Steak: Trim excess fat from the flank steak. Rub both sides with steak rub if using. Place in a Ziploc bag, pour in the marinade, seal tightly, and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight.
  3. Preheat Grill: Remove steak from the refrigerator and let it reach room temperature while preheating the grill to high heat (450-500°F).
  4. Grill: Drain excess marinade. Place steak at an angle on the grill grates for about 3 minutes on each side until grill marks appear. Flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes until reaching an internal temperature of 130°F for medium rare.
  5. Rest & Slice: Cover cooked steak with foil and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing against the grain.
