  • 1 1/4 cups light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 16.9 ounces mini M&Ms (divided)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Line several baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, light brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt until just combined. Fold in the mini chocolate chips and one cup of mini M&Ms.
  5. Roll small pieces of dough into balls (about a teaspoon each) and press them into the remaining M&Ms before placing them on the prepared baking sheets.
  6. Bake for 6-8 minutes or until slightly golden on the bottoms. Allow to cool before transferring to wire racks.
