  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  2. Butter one side of each slice of bread generously.
  3. Place one slice in the skillet, buttered side down, and top with cheddar cheese.
  4. In another pan, fry the egg, seasoning with salt and pepper until the whites are set but yolk remains runny (about 3 minutes).
  5. Once the cheese starts melting (about 2 minutes), place the fried egg on top of the cheese and cover with the second slice of bread (buttered side up).
