- 7.5 oz chive & onion cream cheese spread
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese (freshly grated, divided)
- 1 bell pepper stem (for decoration)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, chive & onion spread, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and 1 ¼ cups shredded cheddar until smooth.
- Lay out cling wrap on your counter and sprinkle ⅓ cup of shredded cheddar in the center for the cheese ball base.
- Spoon the cheese mixture over the cheddar base and cover completely with remaining shredded cheddar.
- Wrap tightly in cling wrap, shaping into a round ball.
- Secure shape using rubber bands around the wrapped cheese ball.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
- Remove rubber bands and top with a bell pepper stem before serving.
