- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2–3 tbsp milk or heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C) and prepare a bundt or tube pan.
- Cream together softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract and vinegar.
- In another bowl, sift cake flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Mix red food coloring with buttermilk in a separate bowl.
- Alternate adding dry ingredients and buttermilk mix to the batter until just combined.
- Pour into the prepared pan and bake for 75-85 minutes until golden brown.
