- 12 jumbo pasta shells
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup low-sodium beef broth
- 1 cup full-fat sour cream
- 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a large baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Cook the pasta shells in salted boiling water until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain carefully.
- In a skillet over medium heat, sauté onions until translucent. Add garlic, then ground beef. Cook until browned; drain excess fat.
- Stir in cream cheese until melted. Season with salt and pepper, then mix in half of the shredded cheese.
- Stuff each shell with the beef mixture and place seam-side up in the baking dish. Pour beef broth mixed with sour cream over the shells and top with remaining cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 5 minutes until bubbly.
