Ingredients
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/3 cup red bell pepper (finely diced)
- 2 tablespoons green onion (diced)
- 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
- 2 teaspoons cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil
- 4 slices cheddar cheese
- 2 strips turkey bacon (cooked)
- 2 buns (toasted)
- Mayo and sriracha for assembly
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, egg, breadcrumbs, red bell pepper, green onion, smoked paprika, cajun seasoning, sea salt, black pepper, and garlic. Mix until just combined and form into four equal balls.
- Heat avocado oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place the chicken balls in the skillet and smash them down gently with a spatula. Cook for 4–5 minutes.
- Flip the patties and add cheddar cheese on top. Cover the skillet and cook for another 3–4 minutes until the cheese melts.
- Assemble your burgers by spreading mayo and sriracha on toasted buns. Stack two patties on each bun, add turkey bacon pieces and sliced red onion. Top with the second bun.
