  • 4 cups sugar
  • 1.74 oz Sure Jell fruit pectin
  • 3/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Clean jelly jars and strawberries thoroughly, removing stems from strawberries.
  2. Crush or blend strawberries until desired consistency is reached; measure out 2 cups.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine crushed strawberries with 4 cups of sugar and let sit for 10 minutes.
  4. In a saucepan, mix 1.75 oz of fruit pectin with 3/4 cup water; bring to a boil while stirring.
  5. Once boiling, continue stirring for one minute; then add to the strawberry-sugar mixture.
  6. Stir vigorously for about three minutes until the sugar dissolves and the mixture thickens.
  7. Fill jelly jars, leaving 1/2 inch space at the top, secure lids, and let sit at room temperature for 24 hours before freezing.
