  • 6 cups vegan marshmallows
  • 4 cups Rice Bubbles (Krispies)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Red food coloring

Instructions

  1. Prepare a Bain-Marie by heating 1/2 cup of water in a small pot until boiling. Place a large heatproof bowl over the pot.
  2. In the bowl, add the butter and vegan marshmallows. Whisk continuously until melted and smooth (about 2-4 minutes).
  3. Remove the bowl from heat and stir in salt and red food coloring until well combined.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, pour the Rice Bubbles and then add the melted marshmallow mixture. Mix thoroughly until all Rice Bubbles are coated.
  5. Lightly oil your hands to prevent sticking, then shape the mixture into brain-like forms, creating indentations for detail.
  6. Use a toothpick dipped in red food coloring to draw veins on each brain.
  7. Store your creations in an airtight container for up to one week.
