  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 1/2 cups confectioner’s sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
  2. In one bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves.
  3. In another bowl, combine brown sugar and vegetable oil until smooth. Beat in eggs one at a time followed by vanilla extract.
