  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ cup ice water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 6 to 7 cups sliced apples (peeled and cored)
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and salt. Add cold butter and cut in using a pastry cutter until coarse crumbs form.
