  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 can chicken broth (14.5 ounces)
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 pound penne pasta
  • 1 ½ cups shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup frozen peppers and onions
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, combine chicken breasts, heavy cream, butter, chicken broth, Cajun seasoning, paprika, minced garlic, frozen peppers, and onions.
  2. Cover and cook on high for 2-3 hours or low for 4 hours until the chicken is tender.
  3. Remove chicken, slice it into bite-sized pieces, and set aside.
  4. Stir penne pasta into the slow cooker sauce mixture; cover and cook for about 30 minutes until al dente.
  5. Add sliced chicken and Parmesan cheese back to the slow cooker; stir well to combine.
  6. Season with salt and pepper before serving hot.
