Ingredients
- 1 bundle of thick asparagus
- 12 slices thin cut turkey bacon
- Skewers (wooden or metal)
Instructions
- If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30-60 minutes to prevent burning.
- Wash and trim the woody ends off the asparagus, then cut it into 3 pieces. Cut each strip of turkey bacon into 3 pieces.
- Wrap one piece of turkey bacon around each piece of asparagus and thread onto a skewer. Repeat until all ingredients are used.
- Grill over indirect heat for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway through until the turkey bacon is crispy. Alternatively, bake at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes.
